Hello, September. Good bye to overly long work days.

Can we believe it? OK, I made it through the summer. Gotta tell you that for a while, it felt like a call via the toss of a coin would determine if it was yes or no. And I had little to say about it, it would just be what it was. I know I have a great deal of say-so. For a while it just felt like a different thing.
Between the new job (44 or 45 hours per week - fairly normal, right?) plus sittings before work & sittings after, my days were lengthy: left home at 6:30 AM or so & was home circa 7 or 8 PM. Roll over, Beethoven, I am done w/this long days w/ Labor Day Sunday being the only exception.
Not a moment too soon. There are other blog folks having the same type of busy summer - Sweet Jane being one of them. Purlewe & Clara being two others. I send you all tho'ts of good caffeine, good knitting, good writing, good editing, good interactions w/ customers, many nights of good sleep.
We currently have a Labor Day week-end weather forecast for big rain. What a crazy August we have had. ANd now so it seems, a wild early September.
Over all, our summer has not been as bad as Philly summers can be. We had one period of very hot temps (over 100 for a series of too many days in a row) & we have had a dry August. Now most days have some rain or a lot of rain.
For Saturday I have a few sittings & hope to catch up on emails. Have a few DVDs from the Library - will sit my buttocks on the couch, watch movies & knit. Ahhh, pleasure.
Will work on Sunday as is my usual & will be off on Monday from the "day" job w/ only three sittings on the books. Back to those videos & knitting.
